Funeral services were held at the Vander Ploeg Funeral Home in Sheldon June 23 for John H. Reimers, 79, of Boyden, who died June 21 at the Sheldon Hospital.

Services were conducted by the Reverend Paul Moon and burial was made in the Boyden Cemetery.

Mr. Reimers was born at Boyden August 11, 1891. He was married to Mary Chambers March 14, 1917 at Worthington, Minnesota.

Survivors include the widow; a son, Robert of Boyden; a daughter, (Gladys) Mrs. Andy Moret of Boyden; two brothers, Fred and George, both of Boyden; and one sister, Mrs. Margaret Betten of Sheldon, five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
