In the 1910 census Maria A. Nieuwenhuis born about 1845 Holland was married to Hubert Nieuwenhuis born about 1847 Holland, they had a daughter Ida age 24 born about 1886 Holland.

Note: From a family report Hubert Nieuwenhuis was born Jan 23, 1847, he married Maria Aletta Pott on April 27, 1871 in Kloetinge Zeeland Netherlands. They had ten children. He died 1910 and buried in Orange City IA. Maria A. was the daughter of Cornelius Pott and Jacoba Henrica Traas.
