Eunice Reimers, 94, of Boyden, died Wednesday, January 18, at Pleasant Acres Care Center in Hull.

Funeral services were held at 1:30 P.M. Saturday, January 21, at the Calvary Baptist Church in Sheldon with the Reverend Walter Disch and the Reverend Marcus Moffitt officiating. Interment followed at Sheridan Township Cemetery near Boyden.

Eunice, who was actually named Catherine Eunice, was born April 2, 1900, at Boyden, the daughter of George and Emma (Cowman) Horn. She was raised at Boyden. On February 20, 1924, she married Fred Reimers at Boyden. They farmed near Boyden. He passed away March 10, 1984, at Sheldon. In January 1990, Mrs. Reimers became a resident of Pleasant Acres. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.

Survivors include a sister, Esther Slykhuis and a sister-in-law, Hermina Horn, both of Boyden.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Orville; two sisters, Merle Den Hartog and Lottie Haspels, and three brothers, Willard, Gilman, and Herbert Horn.
