Note: In the 1880 census of Grant Township Sioux County IA Charles Nugent was 78 born about 1802 in Ireland. Wife Sarah Nugent age 57 born about 1823 New York, they had 4 children – Jane Nugent 25 born WI, Viola Nugent 20 born WI, Leonard Nugent 18 born Sioux Co. IA , and Frances 16.

From a report on ancestry.com (by Others) Charles Nugent 1800-1883 he had five sons and six daughters with Sarah Champine. He died Feb 4, 1883 and is buried in Matlock IA.
