Funeral Services Held Here Friday for Mrs. John Nyhof
Funeral services were held at the Vander Ploeg Funeral Home here at 10;30 a.m. Friday Jan. 17 for Mrs. John Nyhof 68, who died at her home January 15. Services were conducted b the Rev. Ellis Tyson and the Rev. John Wilson and burial was made in the Sioux Center Community Cemetery.
Mrs. Nyhof had resided all her life in the Sioux Center community. She was born here November 6 1900. She was married to John Nyhof February 22, 1922. The couple farmed near Sioux Center.
Survivors include her widower; two daughters Mrs. Hendry Schouten of Boyden and Mrs. Charles Banks of El Paso TX, two sisters, Mrs. Martin Wierda and Mrs. Dick Doornink both of Sioux Center and four grandchildren.
