SERVICES HELD FOR GERRIT J. RAAD AT PIONEER HOME

Funeral services were held for Gerrit J. Raad at the Pioneer Memorial Home Friday afternoon, March 4, with Van Etten’s Funeral Home in charge. Mr. Raad, 69, died at the Pioneer Home on Tuesday, March 1.

Mr. Raad had lived at the home for the past three years. Previous to that he had worked on farms near Orange City, Hull and Sioux Center.

His wife, Gerzena (Engelsman) Raad and their only daughter, Johanna, preceded Mr. Raad in death. No other relatives are known in this area.
