Funeral services were held at the First Reformed Church in Hull November 27 for Donald R. Boote, 42, prominent young farmer of Hull community, who died November 25 at a Sioux City Hospital.

Services were conducted by the Reverend David Ter Beest and burial was made in Hope Cemetery at Hull.

Mr. Boote was born at Hull December 28, 1928, the son of John and Lydia (Beyer) Boote. He farmed in the Hull area all his life. He married Marilyn De Jong December 21, 1949, at Hull.

Survivors include the widow; six sons - Ronald, Terry, Dennis, Bradley, Kevin, and Alan, and a daughter, Leah, all at home; four brothers - John, Herman, Clarence, and Dr. Edwin, all of Hull, Iowa; two sisters - Mrs. William (Christine) Rens and Mrs. John (Elsie) Koele, both of Hull, Iowa.
