Died: July 25, 1987Margarete (Preuss) Schimmelschmidt, 83, of Little Rock died Saturday, July 25, in Pleasant Acres Nursing Home in Hull.
Services were at 10 A.M. Tuesday, July 28, in Vander Ploeg Funeral Home in Sioux Center. Burial was in Memory Gardens Cemetery.
She was born July 30, 1903, in Saalburg, Germany. She came to the United States in 1953 and lived in the Adriana, Minnesota area until 1966 when they moved to Little Rock. She was married to Arno Schimmelschmidt. She entered the nursing home about three months ago.
Survivors include a daughter, Elizabeth Hinrichs of Rock Rapids; two grandchildren, Astrid Regnerus of Sioux Center and Michael Hinrich of Rock Rapids; and eight great-grandchildren.
