Mrs. Mulder was a valued citizen of Alton and her death came as a shock to the legion of friends here who had thought she was improving. A retiring, unassuming citizen, she devoted her entire energies to the proper upbringing of her family all of whom are a credit to the love and care bestowed upon them by their thoughtful and laving parents. Her place in the community will be hard to fill and to family and friends the loss of the devoted mother and kindly friend is severe.
