Akron - Grandma Muir passed away at the home of her daughter Mrs. W. J. Page in this city, Monday night, at the advanced age of nearly 90 years. She had been suffering from a cold that developed into a low form of pneumonia. She had been a resident of Akron and vicinity for many years, and children surviving in this locality are Mrs. W. J. Page, Mrs. A. Metz and William Muir. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. D. K. Hurley at the Church of St. Patrick Thursday morning and the remains conveyed to Hawarden for interment beside her husband, who died twenty six years age.
