Mr. and Mrs. Herman Riedeman have the sincerest sympathy of their friends in the death of their little daughter, Esther Evelyn, which took place early Monday morning. The little girl was only two years old, her birthday being June 17. The funeral, which was held Tuesday afternoon from the Reformed church, was attended by a great host of friends, those who could not find a seat standing in the aisles. Rev. De Jonge conducted the funeral services and interment took place at Floyd cemetery. Four little girls acted as pall bearers, Misses Edith Kooreman, Edna Hoeven, Esther Hyink and Alvina De Boer. It was only last week that the little Riedeman girl was taken sick. On Thursday it was discovered that she had appendicitis and Saturday an operation was performed. Pneumonia set in and early Monday morning at 2 o'clock she passed away.
