Funeral services were held Monday for Mrs. Jesse Peebles, 76, at the Craig Lutheran Church, the Reverend Irwin Schimmel officiated. Burial was in Pleasant Hill Cemetery at Ireton, under the direction of the Satterlee Funeral Home of Ireton. Mrs.Peebles died Friday morning of a heart attack at her home in Le Mars. Mrs. Peebles (nee Maude Phillips) was born April 8, 1886, at Ireton. She and her husband farmed in the Craig vicinity until they retired and moved to Le Mars.

She is survived by her husband, two daughters, Mrs. Donald Elliott of Craig and Mrs. Raymond Smith of Le Mars and two sons, Glenn of Merrill and Ralph of Struble and several grandchildren.
