BRYON PEEBLES, JR. DIED OF PNEUMONIA SUNDAY

Byron Peebles, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jesse and Maude (Phillips) Peebles, died Sunday morning at 7:30 of pneumonia at the home of his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Byron Peebles. He had only been sick a couple of days and his death came as a shock to those near and dear.

George Byron Peebles was born September 14th, 1907 and died March 14, 1920, aged 12 years and 6 months. He had been an invalid all his life. When he was eleven months old his grandparents took him to their home and from then up to his death he was given all the loving care and attention that his grandparents could bestow and he will be greatly missed from their home. Although never able to help himself in the least, his every want and all the comfort that loving hearts and hands could bestow were his.

The funeral was held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o’clock from the Peebles home with Reverend Kettle in charge and burial was in our beautiful cemetery.
