RITES HELD HERE FEBRUARY 14 FOR PETER P. NOTEBOOM

Funeral services were held at Town Hall here Tuesday for Peter P. Noteboom, who died last Saturday.

The service was conducted by Delbert Johnson and Clarence Frederick. Pallbearers were Thomas Noteboom, Peter I. Noteboom, Marion Ten Napel, Jim J. Hofmeyer, Harvey Hofmeyer,and Raymond Vander Meulen.

Van Etten Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements in charge of arrangements. Interment was in the Orange City Cemetery.

Mr. Noteboom was the son of Peter and Adriana (Verduin) Noteboom and was born at Harrison, South Dakota. He farmed in South Dakota, later moving to Wright County, Iowa and then to Sioux County. He had lived in Orange City for the past 34 years. Mr. Noteboom was married Friday 24, 1910, to Kate Vander Meuten. He was a member of the Followers of Christ Church.

Survivors include the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. Reverend (Mary) Bliek, Mrs. G. (Allie)Vander Stoep, both of Edgerton; Mrs. John (Bessie) Hofmeyer, Orange City; Mrs. Hubert (Nellie) Tott, Sioux City; and Mrs. Joe (Johanna) Reinders and Arie Noteboom, both of Orange City. Another sister, Mrs. H.J. (Tena) Ten Napel of Ireton preceded him in death.
