Funeral services were held at the First Reformed Church at Ireton at 2 P.M. October 26, for Peter Ten Napel, 62, formerly of Maurice, who died October 24 of injuries suffered in a tractor accident near Pipestone, Minnesota. Services were conducted by the Reverend Harold Lenters and burial was at Eagle Lake, Texas.

Mr. Ten Napel was born in Sioux County, near Maurice to Herman and Dena (Noteboom) Ten Napel, March 22, 1909. He married Alma Claudine Doubs May 4, 1934, at Ireton. In recent years he had lived at Houston, Texas.

Survivors are a daughter - Mrs. Larry Bonnie Haynes of Houston, two sons - Clayton and Paul of Pasadena Texas, 11 grandchildren, his step-mother Mrs. Minnie Ten Napel of Ireton, two brothers - Harm of Ireton, and Marion of Jasper, Minnesota, three sisters - Mrs. Elmer Nellie Heusinkveld of Bellflower, California, Mrs. Julius Ada Barents and Mrs. France Mulder of Ireton; a step-brother John H. Dekker of Ireton.
