Alex Joseph Pins passed away Wednesday morning, June 23, at the age of eighteen years and nine months. He had been ill for some time and death came as a relief to the weary spirit. Deceased was born September 24, 1896 and is a son of Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Pins. Besides his parents he leaves to mourn his death three brothers, Edmund, Arnold and Robert and one sister Miss Hilda, who received the sad news of his death at Cedar Falls where she is attending college and who came Thursday morning for the funeral. Funeral services will be held Saturday morning at 8:30 o'clock from St. Mary's church. Very Rev. F.J. Brune will have charge of the ceremony. Geo. Henrich, Henry Kaschmitter, Albert Schnee, Maris Goebel, Ira Even and Hilary Sauer will act as pall bearers. Interment will be made in St. Mary's cemetery. The Democrat and their host of friends extend to the sorrowing parents and brothers and sister their sincere sympathy in this, their hour of sorrow.
