Hofmeyer, Fannie born 30 Dec 1899 Newkirk IA died 30 Apr 1937 buried in West Lawn Cemetery Orange City IA. Her husband was Jacob, her maiden name was Harmelink.

Note: From family report on ancestry.com (by others) her parents were Herman Harmelink and Fennigje ‘Fannie’ Hoeve. Her husband Jacob Hofmeyer born 1895 died May 13, 1980.

Mrs. Jake Hofmeyer, nee Harmelink, died Monday at St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester, Minn, following an operation for a brain tumor. Mrs. Hofmeyer was born Decemiber 30, 8899 near Newkirk and -grew up there. She moved to Orange City with her parents years ago. She remained there until her marriage Feb. The Hofmeyers then moved to Newkirk where they engaged farming. In 1925 they moved to Orange City. Immediate relatives are her husband and little daughter, Arlene; six brothers and sisters who are John Harmelink, Mrs. Gertrude Van Strvland, Minnie Van Zyl, Mrs. Dena….; Miss Josie Harmelink; Herman Harmelink. Her mother died 1926 and her father in 1934. She was a loving wife and faithful caring mother and a …… Christian. Funeral services will Thursday at 1 o'clock at the home and in the First 'Reformed church at 1:30.
