Requiem Mass Held For F. M. Keegan
Requiem Mass was offered Monday morning, March 19, at 1:00 a. m. for Francis Michael Keegan, 52, who died of a rare ailment, emphysemia of the lungs, at his home Thursday, March 15, after an illness of several years, Pall bearers were, Stanley McKeegan, Martin Cullinan, Jerome Haas, William B. Hevern, William Barry and John E. Frembgen all of Rock Valley.

Mr. Keegan was born March 8, 1904 at Rock Valley. He was married to the former Elizabeth Whalen at Larchwood and the couple farmed in the vicinity of Rock Valley until 1944, when Mr. Keegan began working for John Morrell and Co. at Sioux Falls. S. D.

The family established a permanent residence in Sioux Falls in July of 1948. Mr. Keegan was a member of St. Joseph's Cathedral parish. His parents and one brother, William, preceded him in death,

Survivors are, his widow, six sons, Kevin, Michael, Terrence. Patrick, Thomas and Daniel; two daughters, Coleen and Judith, all at home in Sioux Falls; three brothers, Raymond of Rock Valley, John of Doon and Lee of Martin, S. D.; three sisters, Mae. Elizabeth and Eleanor.
