We have two folds deaths here last week, the one Mrs. Albert Jongewaard, born Muilenburg, and the other Jantje Versteeg, being from the same place (Vuren Gelderland Neth.), school, and playmates, grew to adulthood, came to USA and lived in Pella very many years together, both the Lord confessed, together in this place a few years lived , and now in a week both exchanged the temporary with the eternal, so also in death not separated.

Jenneke Muilenberg Jongewaard came to this country in 1848. Soon after her being here she made herself faithful by confession of faith with the conscience of the Lord and lifted her in abundance with the authenticity of her. She married in Nov 1851 Nine well-created children were born. The first one, one died months old being The other children, 6 boys and 2 girls were to become great. A 20-year-old son, however, died a few years ago in retirement. Now there are 7 still alive. One unmarried is a student in theology.

Mrs. J died of a stroke, which, however, she did not have a complete speech impediment. The family of the dead is richly blessed, both to the time and to the spiritual. The deceased was part of the Muilenburg tribe, whose siblings were Elder Huibert Muildenburg, age 73, Antonie Muildenburg 66, Cornelia (Mrs. H. Spaan) Muilenburg 63 and Pieter Muilenburg 60.
