Miss Marie Vant Hol passed away at the home of her mother Tuesday, after a very serious illness of a few days with typhoid fever. All that loving hands and human skill could accomplish was unavailing. All who knew her grieved at her untimely taking away and extend deepest sympathy to the bereaved relatives. Marie was a fine Christian character and ever ready to do her part in the home and church. She is mourned by her mother, four sisters and one brother. They are, Cora and John at home, Mrs. G. Van Der Kieft and Mrs. H. Vant Hil of Steen, Minn., and Mrs. R. Reinders of Carnes. Deceased was born near Carnes nineteen years ago. Funeral services were held Thursday at the Carnes church at two o'clock P.M. Interment was made in the Orange City cemetery.
