Mrs. G. Van De Brake, the 94 year old mother of John, Hannes and Henry Van De Brake, died last Sunday morning. For about three months she made her home with her grand children, Mr. and Mrs. Jake De Vries. The remains were taken to Pella, her old home, for interment.

Last Sunday morning old lady Van De Brake died at the home of her son John Van De Brake. She had reached the unusual age of 94 years. Only a very short time ago her husband died in Pella where they resided and the mother in her advanced age came here to spend her few remaining days with her children. Wednesday the body was taken to Orange City thence by railroad to Pella where the funeral was held last Thursday when the remains were laid by those of her husband.
