James Edwards, who passed away at his home in Struble last Friday, was an Ireton boy. He was born in Grant county, Wis., August 7, 1870, and was married to Miss Nellie Bailey October 28, 1891. To them were born seven sons, one of whom passed away in infancy. He is survived by his wife and six sons: Glenn, Henry, Eugene, Maurice, Robert and James. The funeral was held Monday from the Struble Methodist church, Rev. Masters officiating. Interment was made at Ireton. Messrs Morris and Hazzard and Mesdames Morris and Waite sang. Many beautiful floral emblems were sent by friends and relatives. The following people from Ireton were in attendance: Mrs. Irv Knowlton, Mr. and Mrs. Clive Knowlton, Mr. and Mrs. Link Bailey, Mr. and Mrs.Newton Bartlett, Mr. and Mrs. T.C. Shoemaker, Mr. and Mrs. G.L. Houlton, John Fritz, C.H. Houlton, Mesdames M. Edwards, Harry Sewick, Hugh Irwin and Masters.
