William Klein Dies October 12 At Brookings
Last rites were held Saturday afternoon at Bethlehem Lutheran church, Lakewood, for William F Klein, 74, who died Wednesday. October 12 in a Brookings. S. D . hospital following a long illness. Services were held earlier at the Klein home near Elkton S D.. and at Trinity Lutheran church in Elkton Rev William Lendloff officiated, assisted at Lakewood by Rev H Dueker Burial was in St. Paul's cemetery near Hull

Mr. Klein was born July 10. 1881, on a farm near Rock Valley the son of Karl and Mary Klein He was married to Kathenne Finck in 1905 and moved with his family to Lyon county in 1909 He was a resident of this area until 1931 when the family moved to Elkton. S D., where he lived until his death.

Survivors are the widow, three daughters and four sons including Mrs. Walter Katt of Rock Rapids. Mrs. Kenneth Mangold and Kathryn Klein of Omaha. Wilbur and Glenn of Elkton SD and Loraine and Howard of Brookings SD. Pallbearers were Art Schnepf, Paul Klutman, Art Kleun, Lloyd Klein, Ivan Klein and Loren Klein.
