Jake Haag Funeral The funeral of Jake Haag of Sheldon was held in St. Patrick's church Monday morning. The body was brought to Hospers and interred in St. Anthony's cemetery. Mr. Haag was a long time resident of Hospers vicinity.

Note: From a family report on ancestry.com (done by others) Jacob C. Haag was born 1853 in New York his father was Adam Haag 1826-1906 and his mother was Phillipina Spettle 1828-1910. He married Magdalene Gutchenritter Dec 21, 1883 and they had eight children – Bertha 1886, Gertrude 1999, Caroline 1890, Ralph 1891, Nathan 1893, Carl 1896 and Jessie 1897.
