Note: According to a family report on ancestry.com (by others) She was the daughter of John Knewel 1837 Eschure, Luxemburg died 1904 Hull IA and Maria Leach 1831-1913. They had a large family of children - Nicholas 1866-1944, Mary 1861-1901, Kathryn 1870, Lena 1872-1880, Augusta 1874-1880, John 1875-1880, James 1878-1880, Henry 1879-1896, William 1880-1881, Charles 1882-1882, Anna 1883-1971 and Leona 1885-1977. Quite a few of their children died as children mostly certainly do to the epidemics that ravaged at that time, diphtheria was the primary cause.
