From the Rock Valley Bee, April 6, 1928:

Mrs. P. Hanlon, a former resident of Rock Valley, is very sick in a hospital at Spokane, Wash., with very little hopes for her recovery, according to reports received here by relatives in Rock Valley. A later report states that she had passed away.

From the Alton Democrat, April 13, 1928, Rock Valley news:

Mrs. Anna Hanlon, a former resident of Rock Valley, passed away last Tuesday April 3rd at Spokane, Wash., where she resided with one of her daughters. Deceased had a number of friends here who are saddened to learn of her passing. She was an ardent member of St. Mary’s Catholic church here for many years. Her husband and two children preceded her in death.

A transcription of information from her death certificate, found on Ancestry.com, gives her birth year as about 1860; died 3 Apr 1928 at Spokane; father, Herman Bushman; mother, Josephine; spouse, Patrick Hanlon.

FindaGrave.com has her as Anna Josephine Bushman Hanlon; born 14 Jan 1860 in Racine, Wisconsin; died 3 Apr 1928 in Spokane; buried in Fairmount Memorial Park, Spokane; spouse, Patrick Joseph Hanlon (1860-1908); two children listed: Elizabeth Margaret Hanlon Sullivan (1884-1964) and James J. Hanlon (1887-1924).
