Graveside funeral services were held Wednesday, October 26, for Kathy A, and Kristy Sue, twin daughters of Mr. and Mrs. Derrel Lourens, who were born Tuesday afternoon. Reverend Louis Tamminga officiated. Burial was made in the Sioux Center Cemetery under the direction of Vander Ploeg Funeral Home.

Mr. and Mrs. Peter S. Nieuwsma of Hull, North Dakota, left Tuesday morning to return home having been here since Wednesday of last week, in the home of their daughter and husband, Mr. and Mrs. Derrel Lourens. They came for the grave side funeral services which were held that afternoon for Kathy A,, and Kristy Sue, twin daughters of Mr. and Mrs. Lourens who were born Tuesday afternoon at the local hospital and who passed away soon after birth. Also here for the funeral services were Mr. and Mrs. John Lourens of Cedar, Iowa, who returned home on Tuesday.
