Hop, Johanna J. born 1912 died 1925 dau of J. & A. ss as Jacob buried in Valley View cemetery at Rock Valley IA as listed in the Sioux County IA cemetery index.

Note: In the 1925 Iowa State Census there was a family Jakop Hop 39, born about 1886 Netherlands living in Rock Tsp, Sioux county IA his parents were Peter Hop and Jantje Vander ____, his wife was Antonia Dibbets dau of Johan Dibbets and Gerritje Vande Linde age 40 born about 1885 Netherlands, children: Jannetje 17, Peter 14, Johanna 12, Gerrit 10, Christiena 8, Aartje 6, Bernardus 3, Tillie 2 and Aleida 2. They came to USA in 1920. In 1930 the family was living in Lyon County.

Observation - Since Johanna died 1925 it is assumed that being on the same headstone, she and Jacob were siblings. If Jacob was born 1923 that would be rather close to children Tillie and Aleida born about 1923 also. The headstone is rather hard to read so the born date for Jacob could be in error. In the 1930 census they had a son they named Jake who was 5 years old born 1925.
