From the Alton Democrat, February 17, 1928:

Camellus Kellen

A number of Alton relatives attended the funeral of Camelius Kellen, who was brought up in the Alton vicinity, having left here in 1909 with his wife, formerly Miss Carrie Sauer, and their children. The family moved to Faulkton, S.D., where they purchased a farm. In 1925 they left the farm and moved to town. Mr. Kellen is survived by his wife and seven children.

Out-of-town attendants at the funeral were John Sauer and John Dickerman of North Yakima, Wash.; Dr. Andrew Sauer and Dr. Raymond Sauer, Chicago; Mr. and Mrs. Albert Sauer, Sioux City; Mrs. H. Hensing, Mrs. M. Sauer, Matt Kellen and Tony Kokenge of Alton; John and Matt Kellen of Madison, Minn.; Mr. and Mrs. Ed Kellen of Iona, Minn.; Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Kellen, Salem, S.D.; Wm. Mulvaney, Marshall, Minn.; Mr. and Mrs. Tom Anglin of Polo, S.D.
