STRUBLE, Iowa --- Frank William Lehrman, 81, of Struble died Monday, November 20, 2000, at a Sioux City Hospital.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Grace Lutheran Church in LeMars, Iowa, with the Reverend Larry Fett officiating. Burial will be in Resthaven Memory Gardens Cemetery, with military rites conducted by American Legion Wasmer Post 241 of Le Mars. Visitation will be after 2 p.m. today, with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m., at the Mauer-Johnson Funeral Home in Le Mars.

Mr. Lehrman was born May 19, 1919, near Orange City, Iowa, the son of Frank and Emma (Kuecker) Lehrman, Sr. He attended country school in Sioux County, Iowa.

He married Bernice Stephens on April 1, 1941, in Ireton, Iowa.

The couple made their home near Carnes, Iowa, where he began working in the trucking business. He hauled grain and livestock for 40 years. He also was employed as a salesman with Mouw Motor Company in Sioux Center for 36 years. They moved to Struble in 1951. They retired in 1981 and continued to live in Struble.

Survivors include his wife; two sons and their wives, James and Linda of Le Mars, and Kenneth and Jennifer of Newton, Iowa; a brother and his wife, Bill and Carla of Spencer, South Dakota; a sister and her husband, Vesta and Ervin Criswell, of Le Mars; a sister-in-law, Jean Lehrman of Spencer, South Dakota; five grandchildren, Michelle, Andrew, Anthony and Amy Lehrman and Karen Schincke; and four great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Darrell and Lester.

Pallbearers will be Marion Mouw, Earl and Loren Lehrman, Richard Mille, Duane Boettger and Dale Grazmeyer.
