Meldden wij verleden week dat de oude Mrs. Hoffs hard achteruit ging, hot is thans onze treurige plicht melding te maken van haar overlijden, dat Zondagmorgen plaats vond. De begrafenis had Maandag namiddag plaats van uit de I ste Geref. kerk, onder leiding van Ds. Heemstra,Onzo innige -Sympathie is met do achtergebleven vader en zijn kinderen in deze beproeving.

Translation:
We reported last week that the old Mrs. Hoffs went backwards, now it is our duty to mention her death, which took place Sunday morning. The funeral took place Monday afternoon form the 1st Reformed church led by Ds. Sympathy is with the father and his children during this time.

Jan was born 1841 died 1940. She had a son Arie Nooenboom and they had children – Aartje, Geertje, Jan, Cornelis, Pieter, Neeltje, and Teuntje.
