Funeral services were held at the Lockwood - Jongewaard Funeral chapel Saturday afternoon for Stanley Klay, 38, former Rock Valley resident, who died last Wednesday morning following an auto accident the previous day. The Rev. Everett Major conducted the service with Mrs. H. S. Rasmussen at the organ. Myron Shannon was soloist. Interment was in Riverview cemetery with Lester Wiggins, Arnold Holthusen, Jake Van Den Hul, Henry Zoet, Jr., John Appel and Dave Sieperda serving as bearers. Surviving are the father, John Klay, three brothers, Reynold of Huron, S. D., John, of Magnolia, Minn., and Russell D. of Omaha, Nebr.; and two sisters,.. Eldora, Mrs. S. H. Synhorst of Ames, and Annabelle, Mrs. Charles F. White of Baton Rouge, La.
