Mrs. W.A. Lammers died at her home at Sioux Center, Iowa Friday September 22nd after suffering patiently for many weeks with tuberculosis. Everything had been done to fight the dread disease, her husband taking her west several months ago, but of no avail.

Deceased was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gerrit and Jane (Vande Steeg) Beyer of Orange City and was born near Orange City March 14th, 1883. In the fall of 1906 she was united in marriage to William A. Lammers. This union was blessed with one child, Alice, born three years ago and who survives.

The funeral services were held from the Reformed Church of Sioux Center on Tuesday and were conducted by Reverend Engelsman of Orange City, Deceased is survived by her husband and daughter, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. G. Beyer of Orange City and the following brothers and sisters: Dr. Hart of Pittsville, Wisconsin, Mrs. Ed Franken of Tabor Canada, Mrs. G. Vogelaar of Litcgville, North Dakota, Mrs. B. Masselink of Pretoria, South Africa and Bertha, Genevieve and Gerrit at home. Dr. and Mrs. Hart Beyer attended the funeral.
