Old gentleman, Pleun Lagendyk, who was seriously ill as stated in the last issue, died at the home of his children, Mr. and Mrs. John Veenkamp. He was eighty-three years old. He was married to Cornelia (Dorsman) Lagendyk. She died in 1913.

He was highly respected and we extend our sympathy to the bereaved children.

He was buried from the Second Reformed Church last Friday, of which he was a member. Reverend Haverkamp spoke words of comfort. He was buried at Memory Gardens Sioux Center Cemetery in Sioux Center, Iowa.
