He also leaves three brothers, John Aurit, of Dubuque, Iowa, Henry Aurit, of Mankato, Minn., and Jerry Aurit, of Rock Valley, and four sisters, Mrs. John Schemmer, of Chicago, Mrs. Arthur Warren, of Spencer, Iowa, Mrs. Stengel, of Canton, and Mrs. James McElroy, of Rock Valley, all of whom except John Aurit were here to attend the funeral services, which were held Monday morning in St. Mary’s Church in Rock Valley.

Other relatives from a distance who attended the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. John Quinn, Le Mars; Mrs. Ellen Sullivan, Alvord; Mrs. Sophia Aurit and children, Sioux Falls; Mrs. Whalen and children, Larchwood; Mr. and Mrs. George Knoor, Canton; Mrs. Gerrit Noteboom, Mr. and Mrs. Fred De Haan, Lawrence De Haan, Mr. and Mrs. Ira De Haan, Mr. and Mrs. J. Mr. Aurit was a man who was well thought of in this vicinity and had many friends here and his untimely death is very much regretted.
