Monday afternoon the funeral of Gerrit Mouw took place from the First Reformed church. Mr. Mouw died Saturday, aged 81 years. He was born in the Netherlands and came to this country in 1865 and to Sioux county in 1886, living at Sioux Center and later on a farm northeast of Orange City. He leaves ten children, Mrs. Gerrit Reinders, Mrs. D. Duistermars, Mrs. H. Reekers, Mrs. C.J. De Jong, Mrs. H.A. De Jong, Mrs. D. Krekes, and Edward, John, Henry and Jake.
