Mrs. Minnie Heitritter nee Minnie Maria Ricka Brinkmeier was born March 4, 1868, In Germany, came to America in her early childhood and lived in Wisconsin and then in Sioux County, Iowa, She married William Heitritter March 4; 1888, and lived in Hull, Boyden and Matlock for several years. They then moved to Minnesota where they lived until about nine years ago when they moved to Sheldon, lA., where the deceased was a member of the German Lutheran Church and Aid Society of that place. About three years ago moved to Sioux City, la., where they were living at the time of Mrs. Heitritter’s death. Mrs. Heitritter had been enjoying quite good health until about a year ago when her health first began to fail and then in the last four months she had been very ill and suffered excessively but patiently.

She died July 2, 1914, and leaves her husband and six children to mourn her death, Mrs. Bertha Belling, Lena, Ernest, .Martha, Edward and Elmira Heitritter the youngest being eight years of age; also her sister, Mrs. Bertha Winch of Homer, Nebr., and son-in-law, A. Belling, and two aunts , Mrs. Drenkow of Hull, and Mrs. Taulman of Round Lake, Minn. Mrs. Heitritter leaves many friends and was remembered by many floral offerings. (There continues a long list of friends who attended the funeral.) also many friends from Rock Rapids, Hull, Boyden, Matlock and other surrounding towns.
