Heininge, Henry H. born Jul 1879 Odense Denmark, died 26 Jan 1914 Ireton, IA buried in Pleasant Hill Cemetery Ireton IA.

Hawarden Independent of Jan 29,1914
A very sad death occurred in Ireton Monday when Henry Heininge passed away from internal hemorrhages. Funeral services were held at the M. E. Church at 2:30 Wednesday afternoon. Mr. Heinnenge came here about six months ago from Rapid City SD to take charge of Tilford’s tin shop and his family came a couple of months later. He had been ailing ofr a long time, but his condition was not considered serious until recently. A brother came from MN to attned the funeral. He was 34 years of age and leaves a wife and three children to mourn his death. He carried $100 live insurance policy in the W. O. W. and $1000 in a Danish fraternal society. He was a good workman and made many friends during his short life here.

Mrs. Henry Heininge has applied for and will probably be granted a widow's pension by the
court at Orange City. The widow's pension in this case at least, would be very worthily bestowed.
Shortly after Mr. Heininge died last winter, their little boy, the smallest of three children, then only about a year of age, got hold of a carbolic acid bottle and swallowed a quantity of the contents andsince that time has been an invalid, not able to eat any solid food. She was left without funds, and this calamity befalling her baby, which needs her constant attention, has made it impossible for her to work. The widow pension law should remain in force for such cases as this, even though some politicians do think it should be repealed.

Note: From an entry on ancestry.com (by others) he was the son of Peter Valdemar Jensen Heininge 1836-1908 and Friedibine Oline Kjaer 1842-?. He was married to Anna Sofia Karoline Petersen 1881-1958. They had three children – Richard, Lily and Clarence.
