STRAYED FROM POOR FARM AND IS FOUND HANGING IN SHED--AGED INMATE OF PLYMOUTH COUNTY INSTITUTION BROODED OVER HUMILIATION

Brooding and resentful over the turn in life’s affairs that scheduled him to spend his declining years in the county poor farm. Henry Kohl, 70 years of age, wandered away from that institution Monday. Last night his dead body was found hanging in a shed of the lumber yard at Oyens.

It is stated that Kohl was in good financial circumstances in his younger days and that he continually brooded over the necessity of “dying in the poor home.” He is said to have relatives residing near Remsen.
