Mrs. A . Hein Died Tuesday Mrs. A. Hein, wife of the pastor of St. John's Lutheran church northwest of Boyden, died Tuesday afternoon after an extended illness She had been an invalid for many years. Funeral services will be held Friday after noon at one o'clock at the home and at the church with burial in the church cemetery.

Note: in the 1940 census of Sheridan Tsp. Sioux county August Hein was 64 born about 1876 in Germany he was a minister. His wife Helen was 67 born abt 1873 in Germany. Living with them was Marie Schult, sister in law of the Rev., she was born about 1886 in SD she was their housekeeper.

From an account on ancestry.com done by others, Rev. August Hein born 30 Apr 1875 Germany died 1965 in So. Dakota. He was first married to Mett Elise Ruter 1873-1924, they had a large family. He then married Helene, and when she died married her sister Marie Zeitner Schult. This tends to indicate Helene’s maiden name was possibly Zeitner.
