Margaret Ann Koele, Hull correspondent for the Sioux Center News, died at her home in Hull on Thursday morning.

Margaret Ann Koele, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Nick and Marie (Vanden Berg) Koele, was born at Hull, Iowa, December 26, 1908. She attended and finished high school in 1927. In the fall she entered nurses training in the Methodist Hospital at Sioux City, Iowa. The following year she entered the St. Joseph Hospital in Omaha, Nebraska.

It was during her last year that she was forced to give up her training on account of ill health. Due to gradually falling health she was confined in her home during the past five years.

Although always cheerful and hopeful she was suddenly called to her heavenly home on May 14, 1936, at the age of 27 years, 4 months and 18 days.

She leaves to mourn her sad departure her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Nick and Marie Koele, two brothers, Frederick and Marvin, and two sisters: Jean and Eva, besides a host of friends and relatives.

Services were held at the American Reformed Church on Monday, May 18, 1926 in charge of Reverend R. Jager, the pastor. He was assisted by Reverend J. Straks. A male quartet composed of Peter Meerdink, Anthony Kooiker, Norman Bell, and Tony Westra rendered two musical selections.

She was laid to rest at Hope Cemetery in Hull, Iowa.
