Henry William Drenkow died at his home two miles north of Hull on Thursday of last week of heart trouble. Deceased was born at Putlitz Germany on March 25, 1847. He came to this country in 1872 and became a resident of Sioux county in 1881. Shortly before leaving for America, on Oct. 10th, 1872, he was united in marriage to Miss Caroline Oeberst. This union was blessed with eight children, six of whom survive. The funeral services were held on Sunday last from the Evangelical Lutheran church. Rev. P.J. Bunge had charge of the services. Interment was made in the Lutheran cemetery in Lincoln township, Deceased is survived by his widow and the following children---William of Hull, Fred of Boyden, Earnest of Hull, Mrs. Mary De Vries of Hospers, Mrs. Lena Schulz of Largenporlee, Minn., Mrs. Emma Sternberg of Sioux City. Many relatives and friends from distant towns were present at the funeral.
