Harry Knight, 79, Hawarden, died Tuesday in a Hawarden nursing home. Services were at 10:30 A.M. Friday in the Dow Funeral Home at Hawarden . The Reverend Marion Bloodworth officiated. Burial was in Grace Hill Cemetery.

Mr. Knight was born to William and Emma Rae (Corbin) Knight on January 7, 1899, near Alcester, South Dakota. He lived in the Hawarden area most of his life and was a veteran of World War I. He attended the Methodist Church at Hawarden.

Survivors include a brother, Vernon, and a sister, Mrs. Sylvia Jones, both of Hawarden.
