Gerrit Kleinhesselink, a prominent Nassau Township farmer, passed away at his home southwest of Alton at noon Sunday, April 5.

The funeral services were held Wednesday, April 8, at the home at one o'clock and at the church at two o'clock at the First Reformed Church, Orange City.

He leaves to mourn his passing, his wife, Mrs. Gertie (Vander Maaten) Kleinhesseling and six children, five daughters, Dena, Mrs. Elmer De Vries of Alton, Henrietta, Mrs. Ben Van ‘t Hof of Hospers, Alvina, Mrs. Henry Vander Zwaag of Orange City, Winnie at home; and one son, Joe at home.

Five brothers and two sisters also survive, Mrs. Herman Schreur, Mrs. Al De Vries, Fred, Charles, Ed, Henry and William, all of Orange City.

Note: His parents were Joseph and Diena Johanna (Hamelink) Kleinhesselink.
