Brother of Hull Lady is Reported Missing in Action

Lt. Wallace Fred Klein above USNR is missing in action, according to a war department telegram received by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ernest F. and Abbie (Moeller) Klein, 421 West Seventh st.

Lt. Klein, a navy pilot, was on a carrier in the pacific area.

He was graduated from Washington High School in 1942 and entered the service that summer. He took his pre-flight training at Iowa City, Iowa, Minneapolis and Pensocola, Florida, before going oversea in November 1944.

Klein has one brother, Arnold Klein, Sioux Falls, and five sisters, Mrs. Henry Jantzen, Hull, Iowa; Mrs. Sylvia Hubers, Doon, Iowa; Mrs. Eleanor Nelson, De Smet, South Dakota; Mrs. Violet Kersbergen, Sioux Falls, and Marcella Klein, at home.
