Gerrit Schut dies Wednesday at Grand Rapids

Funeral services for Gerrit Schut, 49, will be held in the Calvin Christian Reformed church at 1:30 p.m. Friday, June 7. Rev. John Byker will officiate. Arrangements will be under the direction of the Porter Funeral home.

Mr. Schut died in Pine Rest hospital, Grand Rapids, Mich.,after a long illness. He farmed in South Dakota and near Rock Valley until 1955.

Survivors include the widow, two daughters, a brother, Andrew, Annandale, Minn, and a sister Mrs. Niel (Wilhemina) Duimstra, Spencer, S. D.
