Obituary of Mrs. Anna Heemskerk Mrs. Anna Heemskerk passed away at the Sheldon Community Hospital Saturday afternoon, June 15. She had attained the age of 84 years, 10 months and 29 days.

Mrs. Heemskerk was born the daughter of Willem Bell and Maaike De Koster on July 16th, 1878, in the Netherlands. She was united in marriage on April 17, 1902, to Peter Ruysenaars, who preceded her in death in 1903; To this union was born one daughter, (Ada) Mrs. John Droog of Hull.

On May 3rd, 1906, she was united in marriage to Leendert Heemskerk, who preceded her in death in 1950; To this union five children were Born, one son, William Leonard, who preceded her in death in 1916, and four daughters: Margaret, Mrs. Ray Tamminga of Bellflower, California; Henrietta, Mrs. Arie Koele, and Floreda, Mrs. Wilfred Beckman, both of Hull; and Gertrude, Mrs. Roy Reimers, of Boyden.
Thirteen grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren survive, as well as one brother, Peter Bell, of Hull. Her passing is mourned, not only by the relatives, but also by a host of friends. The funeral services were held on Monday, June 17, at. 1:00 o'clock at the Kraai Funeral Chapel, and at 1:30 o'clock at the First Reformed Church in Hull, of which she was a member for many, many years. Rev. Nickolas Rozeboom officiated at the services. Music was furnished by the Boote Brothers quartet, who sang: "Face to Face," and "Going Down the Valley. Pallbearers were Floyd Gibson, Nick Slager, Stanley Van Der Vliet, John Velgersdyk, John Reuvers, and John Van Leeuwen. Interment was made in Hope cemetery at
Hull..
