BABY DIES

Mr. and Mrs. John Vis are mourning the death of their little one year son Willard, who died last week Thursday and was buried in Hope Cemetery Saturday. Much sympathy is felt for the bereaved family. Rev. Danhof conducted the services.

His death certificate gives his birth date as April 21, 1925, in Iowa; adds his parents’ names, John Peter Vis and Maggie Brummel, both born in Iowa; died at 1:00 p.m., April 29, 1926; cause, influenzal pneumonia; contributory cause, bilateral otitis media [inflammation of the ear].
