IRETON FARMER DIES AT AGE 71
Ireton, Ia.---Funeral services will be held today (Thursday) for Jack Walker Bushby, 71, who died Sunday morning. He suffered a stroke May 11 and had been hospitalized since.

The services will be held at 1:30 Thursday afternoon at the farm home south of Ireton and at 2 o’clock at the Methodist church. Burial will be in the Ireton cemetery.

Mr. Bushby was born August 22, 1879, at Argyle, Wis., to William and Sarah Bushby. He moved with his parents to Ireton in 1884. He grew up on a farm near Ireton and followed the farming occupation.

He married Miss Mae Kennedy October 20, 1910, at Seney, Iowa. He was preceded in death by his wife on October 31, 1947.

Survivors included two sons, Jack and William, both of Ireton; two grandsons; one granddaughter; one sister, Mrs. Daisy Worcester of San Diego; two brothers, Aylmer of Covina, Calif., and Chris of Struble, Iowa. He was preceded in death by a sister, Annie, and a brother, William.
