Mrs. Ravensteyn died last Friday after a brief illness. Deceased was born in the Netherlands eighty-eight years ago. In 1893 she came to this country with her husband and children and settled near this place. Deceased is survived by her husband who is ninety years of age, and four children, Mrs. H. Vander Zwaag, Mrs. Jacob Van Oort, Mrs. Teunis Swets and Peter Ravensteyn. The funeral was held on Monday afternoon services being conducted by Rev. Timmermann.

Note--West Lawn cemetery in Orange City has stones for Peter 1823-1914 and his wife Evertje 1825-1914. Since all the pertinent information matches, I surmised this obit is for her. The cemetery records have the Ravenstein spelling of the surname.
